Travel times
Please note that all stated departure and arrival times depend on the water level, lock times and traffic volume and may vary.
Group discounts
Can only be granted for sightseeing tours, not for event tours. Group discounts are automatically taken into account for online bookings!
Children
We are very happy to welcome our little guests. Our children's play ship on the upper deck is the ideal place for our mini-captains. We have maritime painting sets available on request. In the à la carte area we offer meals especially for children. A limited number of baby changing facilities and high chairs are available. Baby carriages must be specified when booking, but cannot be left on the open decks for safety reasons.
As individual and different in temperament as your children may be, you as parents are best placed to judge on which occasion and for how long your child will feel comfortable on board. Please bear this in mind, especially for themed cruises with a program that our guests would like to follow undisturbed
Persons with restricted mobility
Our landing stage in Koblenz and the toilet on the main deck are barrier-free. Please note that access to the sun deck/winter garden is only possible via a staircase. Wheelchairs and walking frames must be specified when booking. For insurance reasons, no transportation of electric wheelchairs and no assistance can be guaranteed.
Severely disabled persons with appropriate proof and their necessary and registered accompanying persons receive a 50% discount on sightseeing tours. No discount can be granted for event tours.
Payment
We prefer card payment on site. Cash payment is possible. Online bookings are processed via our payment provider either by direct debit, PayPal or card payment. Immediate and automated email dispatch of print@home tickets is free of charge. Alternatively, we can also send you the tickets following your online booking for a processing and shipping fee of EUR 5.50 for a registered letter. The tickets can be validated on board in printed or digital form.
Vouchers
Order conveniently online and receive your desired voucher immediately by email in PDF format to print out yourself - it couldn't be quicker!
We will also be happy to send you your desired voucher by post in a gift folder for a processing fee.
Vouchers can be redeemed for all transportation and catering services.
Advance booking
Prior booking is mandatory for all theme and event tours. We recommend booking in advance for our sightseeing tours; tickets are also available at the box office, subject to availability.
Gastronomy
Our on-board catering always offers a wide selection of food and drinks. Please understand that it is therefore not permitted to consume food and drinks you have brought with you on board.
Explanation of the sights
During the sightseeing tours, the towns and sights along the route are commented on in German and English.
Smoking area
Located on the front and rear sun decks.
Bicycles
Can be taken on scheduled trips and sightseeing tours if parking spaces are available. It is not possible to take them on event tours.
Dogs
Animals are generally not permitted on board, with the exception of dogs.
However, dogs may only be taken on board as part of the sightseeing tours and regular scheduled trips. Dogs are not permitted on all event trips. Dogs must be kept on a lead and muzzled if necessary.
Conditions of carriage
Our boat trips are carried out exclusively in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Business and Transportation of Marksburgschiffahrt Vomfell GmbH & Co. KG. You can find the detailed terms and conditions of transportation here or can be found on the notice board.
No liability for ship failure and delays, timetable and prices subject to change. No refund of fare for journeys not started or even terminated prematurely.
Program subject to change. Later complaints about change returns and fares cannot be considered.
All prices quoted are per person.
The organizer is liable for any damage caused by the participants on board. The shipping company is not liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Damage must be reported to the responsible persons on board as soon as it is discovered, but at the latest by the time the ship leaves the destination, so that any necessary findings can be made immediately.
Stations
For sightseeing tours, boarding is possible at our landing stages in Koblenz, Niederlahnstein, Stolzenfels, Oberlahnstein, Rhens, Braubach and Spay (Niederspay). Prior booking is essential for stops other than Koblenz.
Event trips start and end in the Regal from Koblenz. In the charter area, other landing stages such as Boppard, St. Goar, Bingen, Rüdesheim, Mainz, Urmitz, Andernach, Neuwied, Linz, Königswinter, Bonn, Cologne... are possible on request.
