For our event ship La Paloma in Koblenz we are looking for a trainee for the apprenticeship "bargeman or barge captain".
Inland navigation operators guide and steer ships on inland waterways, transport goods and carry passengers.
Inland navigation operators are primarily employed
- in inland waterway freight and passenger transport companies
- in (inland) port companies and authorities
- at water and shipping authorities
Many doors are open to you after your apprenticeship - whether you want to study shipbuilding, become a captain or an instructor - we will support you in your personal career!

We are a small family business in the Koblenz area.
Our main season is from March to December.
During the rest of the training period, various internships are carried out in cargo shipping companies and also in hotel shipping companies, so that the trainees get to know all sides and are optimally prepared for the final examination.
